i love sonic! granted that some games were not as good. (is sonic the hedgehog 2006 really disappointed me :/) but i love the character! from an industrial point of view, sonic was able to go up against the gaming giant that is (was) nintendo. he embodies what it is to be care-free. and basically that is what we do when we play videogames, we just want to chill :D
my favorite game is "sonic adventure" that game made me puke rainbows! having one main story dividen into 6 diferent points of view!? forget it! just......... FORGET IT! cant be cooler than that!! and the intro scene PLUS the music!? that right there could give any hardcore gamer an erection! :D

Meh I don't care for sonic. Played old ones on my computer. They're pretty fun. And Tails is cute.
Put tails and sonics likeability together and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference here.

Now I'm starting to wish I got the collectors edition and see what else was inside. Sonic is an awesome speedy hedgehog. Also from looking at these comments some people just have to respect the fact that sonic is gonna be around for a while so they'd better keep it to themselves and not talk about it if they hate it that just starts more arguments.
Calling what the haters here give, an "argument"....... is being extremely generous. Amidst all the mindless bashing I'm the only one here has givin me any real evidence why the franchise should die besides the overall annoying fanboys who whine about classic/modern sonic games and even then that is irrelevant.
This franchise can benefit from a reboot.
Yes it could, but as of 2008 IMO it isn't necessary. They just need to find a way to make some of the side characters relevant to future story lines as well as being just as fun to play as Sonic or damn near close to the fun-o-meter.
And it became necessary again in 2011 when the writers screwed up and wrote the franchise into a corner.
Um,how? Sonic travels through space time continuum rescuing all his fur buddies, onto the next adventure, it's always been that simple. Where's is this dead end you speak of? nobody died, and I'm sure the writers will have Eggman escape his limbo prison just like he was found in space in COLORS.
